Samak Sundaravej, Thailand’s prime minister, was yesterday ordered to step down by the country’s Constitutional Court after it ruled he had violated conflict of interest rules by taking office while working as a television chef.	泰国总理沙马(Samak Sundaravej)昨日被该国宪法法院(Constitutional Court)剥夺总理职务，理由是沙马在出任泰国总理后，仍在主持烹饪电视节目，违反了利益冲突规则。
The verdict is the latest bizarre twist in a destructive political stand-off pitting Mr Samak, 73, a conservative, against dogged protesters and influential Thais who believe he is a proxy for Thaksin Shinawatra, the controversial former prime minister ousted in a 2006 coup.	此项判决让一场破坏性的政治对峙出现了离奇的最新转折。意志坚定的示威者以及有影响力的泰国人将73岁的保守派人士沙马视为前总理他信•西那瓦(Thaksin Shinawatra)的代理人，双方因此展开了这场对峙。有争议的前总理他信在2006年的一场政变中被逐下台。
